WarrantyKeep is built privacy-first. It works entirely on your device. We do not
have servers, we do not have accounts, and we never collect, transmit, or sell your data.
What we collect
Nothing. WarrantyKeep has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking,
and no third-party SDKs that phone home. The developer receives none of your data.
What stays on your device
Everything you add — receipt photos, merchant names, purchase dates, amounts, warranty
and return deadlines, and notes — is stored only in WarrantyKeep's private storage on your
iPhone. It is not uploaded anywhere.
Camera & photos: When you scan or import a receipt, the image is
read and parsed entirely on your device. Photos are never sent off the device.
On-device text & AI parsing: Extraction of merchant/date/total runs
locally using Apple's on-device frameworks. No receipt content leaves your iPhone.
Notifications: Deadline reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
Calendar (optional): If you turn on “Add deadlines to Calendar,”
WarrantyKeep writes all-day reminder events into your own system Calendar. It only creates
and manages its own events and does not read your other events.
Backup (optional): When you tap “Create backup file,” WarrantyKeep
exports your data as a .zip that you choose where to save (e.g. Files or your own iCloud
Drive). That copy is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and your device settings — we never
see it.
Purchases
WarrantyKeep offers a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited items. Payment is handled by
Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment details; Apple processes the
transaction under Apple's own privacy policy.
Children
WarrantyKeep does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
